Howl-o-ween Dog Walk-a-Thon & Canine Costume Contest

Franklin’s Friends is proud to present the thirteenth annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest on October 24, 2026 from 9 am to noon at Cranes Roost Park at Uptown Altamonte. We will have a dog walk, canine costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, music, food trucks, and much more! All proceeds will benefit Franklin’s Friends. We expect at least 500 animal lovers will come out and enjoy a morning of fun for the whole family. This is an event not to be missed! There will be fabulous prizes for top individual fundraisers and best costumes! Please join us to fundraise for local animal welfare. Last year HOWL-O-WEEN raised over $48,000! Registration: $20 in advance; $25 at thedoor Registration is per person, not per dog The park will be closed to the public for this private event – paid registration is required for all walkers, costume contest competitors, and spectators.
